Jon Payne Electric, Inc. is a family-owned electrical contractor that has served homeowners, builders and businesses across the Greater Athens area for over two decades — and out to the lake communities from Lake Oconee to Lake Hartwell. When you call, you speak with Jon or Carter directly — the same people who will be doing the work.

We work both sides of the trade: new construction for builders and homeowners putting up a house, and service work for everybody who already lives in one. That mix keeps us sharp. Wiring a home from scratch teaches you how a house is supposed to be built; service calls teach you every way it can go wrong. We also do a good deal of dock and boathouse work — a specialty of its own, and one we've built a real reputation for on the lakes.

Our approach is straightforward. We quote honestly and in plain terms, we show up when we say we will, and we do the work to code and ready for inspection. Two decades of referrals from neighbors, builders and business owners were earned exactly that way.
